Maybe Evie's Little Garden is the sequel to Uncle Tom's Cabin? Not sure if that's just my weird brain though. Seems to have similarity in that chorus.

I am diggin' the new song. The guitar sounds fat as it should. Stayce's vocals sound like a mixture of the vocalists from "Battle Cries" and "Trust". This sounds like it could have been on "Trust" which is my favorite release by them thus far. This is gonna be amazing!

After I had supported their Kickstarter project for Rise and felt screwed over because they purposely hid the new singer until the release came out (they knew switching over to a female vocalist would have lost them supporters), I swore I would never support this band again, but I guess holding a grudge isn't very healthy, so I went and pre-ordered this today.
They also did a GoFundMe in 2019, I did not support that and I don't know what happened with it.

I preordered this on the strength of the samples. Now hearing a full song, I definitely made the right call. This sounds miles and miles better than Rise.

That fizzled. After their previous attempt at a comeback, fans were not happy with them at all for having the hidden female singer and the less than professional mix. Plus, they only got like 5 new songs. So, their attempt at a fundraiser died without making their goal.

Like I said in my earlier post, I decided to trust you guys again with this release despite how I felt about the Kickstarter project (I actually got rid of it within days of getting it).
I do have (and enjoy) the original release CDs from your first two albums, and I even picked up Girder's Battle Cries reissue last year too.

Really enjoying the download of the new album! It is everything I was expecting and more. Looking forward to the LP and holding a physical copy of this. I like that there is a bit of darkness and mystery to the sound. From start to finish it is a familiar album that brings forward the classic sound and feels from the 80's and early 90's in a modern way that still feels authentic.

Sound and style-wise, it is similar to the debut, but with a slightly darker edge, more of the groove that "Trust" had, and of course, modern production. Lots of Beatles influence in some songs, sort of like Enuff Znuff. I would go so far as to say this is their best album to date.
If there were any justice in this world, this album would be a huge seller and a big hit.
Best songs: We're Not In Kansas Anymore, Run To You, Evie's Little Garden, Creep, Lucid, And We All Fall Down, I've Always Wondered.
