Roxx regime 1981 Empty Roxx regime 1981

I noticed on you tube that many famous bands have videos of early gigs before they were famous posted and yet Stryper does not have a single one. Has anybody got or ever seen a gig or heard a recording when Stryper were Roxx Regime and had Eric Johnson on bass and were a 3 piece back in 81? Also did anybody ever see the band in 82 and early 83 when they had a different bassist and guitarist, Scott Lane and John Voorgees?

I'd be curious to see it too, but the earliest Stryper footage was pretty rough and the songs were half-written.  They hadn't grown into the world class hard rock band they would later become.

No, I think that's a different Eric Johnson. The one in Roxx Regime was the first bassist they had when they first formed as a three piece back in 81. Its a shame Robert Sweet doesn't post here as he was the founder and would have all the info. Other bands like Iron Maiden have timeliness and full correct in depth bios.

Yes, they are horrid.
The original 1982. Also, the 2007 demos re-released under the Stryper name

I guess there is a 2019 version too

Thanks, I followed the link. That appears to be the late 83 demo with Oz and Tim. I guess nobody has ever heard their pre Christian 81 and 82 stuff. I agree though it isn't the greatest music.
