MICHAEL GRANT - ALWAYS THE VILLAIN

Wow what a great collection of songs from this ex LA Guns dude. Great voice, fantastic player, awesome songwriter. The first two pre-release singles were catchy well-crafted tunes but that’s just the beginning. This album is shock full of strong material from the rocking opener, the hooky title track, Kiiling Me Slowly, Break Me with U (which has his best guitar solo)then he tops them all with Death of Me which has an epic feel. The negatives are few....some curse words and maybe one too many gun metaphors but I’ll forgive that based on the band he just left. This could be the best release of 2020 for me.

What I've listened to has been ok but now wowing me. I was surprised how early 2000s modern rock it sounded.
