New to the realm but not the Kingdom

Hi, everyone! My name is Steve Perkins, a Christian husband, father, and high school Latin teacher who LOVES hard rock and metal! With my friend Pastor Wildman, I co-host Classic Christian Rock Podcast. I’m excited to have discovered this forum and look forward to meeting more Christian metal heads!

Welcome. What bands/styles of metal do you enjoy?

I (Steve) love Stryper, Bloodgood, Whitecross, King James, Chaotic Resemblance, Rez Band, Shout, Rick Cua, Messiah Prophet, Petra, and more recently Place Of Skulls. I think my podcast partner Pastor Wildman would say about the same.

In general I love hard rock, blues-based rock, and classic metal, basically anything that could trace its roots to the Deep Purple/Led Zep side of the metal family tree or to the hair/LA metal side.

Welcome, Steve.  You may find that you'll discover many bands here that you never heard of.  
I have discovered some real gems so far.

Do you like to get recommendations of bands for your podcast?
There are some very deserving ones that don't get exposure on any of these Christian radio shows or podcasts.
