Fleshkiller - Parallel Kingdom

Post by New Creation on Fri Jun 30, 2017 12:11 pm

Fleshkiller single is out - "Parallel Kingdom"

Very interesting technique of blending classic rock vocals at the beginning and moving into "core" vocals and then back to that classic rock sound at the end.

The playing I would describe as very technical, definitely in the vein of Becoming the Archetype.

Really excited about this.  Ole from Extol here, so it's gotta be good.

Sounds good!  I'm not a fan of the -core-style vocals, but the more deathy vocals and cleans are great.  It definitely reminds me of the latest Vardoger which I LOVE.

QUEEN HARMONIES!

I was struggling for the last hour to figure out what those vocal harmonies at the beginning and end reminded me of, and then it hit me. QUEEN!

This really good but not a big fan of clean vocals in death metal.  Hopefully some of the other songs will have no clean vocals, never the less will definitely be picking this one up.
