I don't know if aliens have visited us, but I do believe that it is very possible there is intelligent life on other planets that we may never know about until we reach heaven. I can't prove that, but God never said we were the only world he created with people in his image. If that is the case, it's very possible (and likely) that these other beings could be in the same boat as we are (tested, failed, now in a fallen state) and have a plan of salvation similar to ours.

I'm similar in that I think there could possibly be life on other planets, but I don't think it will be life with a soul. When man fell, it affected the whole of creation, so that would be other planets too. If there were aliens on another planet who hadn't sinned yet, then their planet would have been affected by our sin, and would have made it a corrupt state.

CS Lewis covered many of these ponderables in his awesome space trilogy. The pastor arrived at many of these same conclusions.

Thanks! Yup, children need a strong godly dad so much. Keep up the good fight and I'll seek to do the same. Maybe I can convince my wife I need a new gun to maintain the manliness balance hahahaha.

In related news, it'd appear that being subjected to heavy metal for nine months in the womb has had its desired effect. I have high hopes for this little metalhead. Twisted Evil

I wish Android had some kind of "universal media player" that would let me queue up songs on my phone from VLC, songs from YouTube Music, and podcasts from another app, all in the same queue. It would be awesome for road trips.

Bought and downloaded on Kindle (shipping to Canada was too expensive)! I'll give a review once I get through it. Can I skip to your chapter right away, or do I need to work up to it? A cursory overview indicates I should be able to jump right in wherever I'd like.

Thanks! Well we try to keep pictures of the kids/family offline for the most part, but here's one of me this morning with Silvia. I've got my The Trooper (beer) shirt and she's got "The Pooper" shirt hahaha.

What do y'all think is going on with mullets these days? All my life they have been always considered ugly and ridiculous as far as I've ever been aware. Then just within the last couple of years it seems, they started making a comeback - which I just assumed was to be ironic and goofy. But now wherever we go, every other boy under the age of 12 is rockin' a mullet! These little kids have no concept of irony so... are mullets cool now??? Or maybe it's just a backwoods Idaho thing?

They come back every so often for a short time. I had one in 3rd grade—thanks to Billy Ray Cyrus—and high school.
