Re: Christian Prog and classics
I am not a prog rock fan, but that Time horizon band posted below called my attention when the video was released a year ago or so. Now I subscribed to their channel, so I can later on search for their music.
Another band I enjoy is sweet crystal. I am not sure if they fit as prog rockers, but that was the impression I got from their ep I bought.

So I checked Jimmy Hotz thanks to alldatndensum. Then I was lead to Arkangel - Warrior. The lead instrumentalist Kemper Crabb caught my eye, as my dad used to play his Vigil album (nothing to do with rock, much less prog rock).
Sounds kind of like Kansas and Alan Parsons, but what stands out is the range of track styles and instruments used. Flutes, bagpipe (!), electric guitar, and synths abound. Excellent, just like Hotz. However, unlike Jimmy Hotz...excellence found its way to the album artwork too

Sacred Warrior is good if you like Maiden/Queensryche style prog.
