What to make of it? Not much.
Tim needs an income.
Tim holds rights to the AILD name, much the way Axl Rose owns the rights to Guns and Roses.
With the divide between Tim and the rest of the classic AILD lineup, and the way things went back and forth......barring an absolute miracle, you're not gonna see activity from the "classic lineup". You're gonna see something along the lines of GnR with Bumblefoot and Buckethead........and it's gonna get the same lukewarm reception or worse.
