Prayer For A Good Friend

Please pray for one of my best friends from college Nate.  Yesterday I got word that he has been diagnosed with ALS.  If you're not familiar, it's a degenerative disease with no cure and on average, someone diagnosed with this disease has two to four years to live - all the while their ability to move, speak, swallow, and the like become increasingly impaired.  There's tons of information about it here which I've only begun to scratch the surface of:

He's only in his early-30's.  I cannot imagine what this must be like for him or his family but I'm pretty heartbroken over it and don't know how to process it.  First and foremost, please pray that God would redeem this situation to bring Himself glory and that through it all God's kingdom would benefit.  But secondly, please pray that God would miraculously heal Nate from this.

Never knew anything about that disease other than the name until now. That's truly horrific. I'll certainly pray for him, and for his family.
