wow. I'm absolutely speechless. This is surreal.

For years and years I pretty much ran a christian metal bootleg industry.... *MANY* if not most of the tapes I'm seeing in those pictures originated from my hands. I own the masters and I'm going to offer them for FREE to this guy if he responds to me.

In the late 90's and early 2000's I had access to professional dubbing and editing stations at my employer which was a HUGE TV ministry. HUGE. so I used that gear to make my own bootlegs and traded them. I'm shocked that they all survived (from what I can tell)

I felt that since mainstream bands had live shows out there then Christian metal bands should too so I relentlessly and obsessively collected this stuff for years while I was a believer... (but like Gary Lenaire and Roger M., I'm no longer a christian)

I also felt that the versions of the songs as they evolved or even unreleased songs should be heard just like mainstream metal bands...

I had professional soundboard bootlegs of Obituary, Seputura, Black Sabbath, Ozzy, etc. so... I MADE MY OWN christian metal ones....

and... the funny thing is: I taught Peter Kompanje how to aquire live shows so that huge Saviour Machine rarities collection was influenced by me... and I physically helped Peter Kompanje get some of those.... RIP he freaked out over one show not being complete.... he actually had a meltdown

I purchased a bunch of VHS tapes like these back 7 or 8 years ago off someone here at the CMR. In fact, on the Facebook page, when looking at the photo of tapes, mine are in the same hand writing. The quality of my tapes are in the "fair" range. Would love to see master quality of these. I also used to personally record live shows when I worked for White Throne Magazine. Transferred everything I have onto DVDs and have somewhere around 300 discs or so. But always looking for more footage!

wow. this is uncanny. I contacted the dude.... boy if those tapes could talk. Each one has a LONG history behind them. unbelievable stories

Wow, this is unreal. Being able to Watch Vengeance from 1987. I was not even into Christian Rock by that phase in my life. I was only 13 and still listening to whatever my parents listened to.
