Even better!  Looking forward to this more than any other release.  I'm going to keep harping you about changing that name, though...it will be a shame for such great music to go unnoticed because of an unmarketable name....

Think of all the great Christian metal band names:

The Crucified
Vengeance Rising
Believer
Tourniquet
Deliverance
Seventh Angel
Sacrament
Ultimatum

These all mean something, are memorable, and most sound tough to match the music.  Adorned Graves just sounds like a grave with a dress or some flowers or decorations on it, if someone even knows what adorned means which most people won't.  It's forgettable.  You're German, right...maybe it sounds different to someone who doesn't have English as a first language?

Sounds good.  What're the vocals like?

That is one long riff in the first song.

Hello,

thanks for all the good words. I try to answer a few questions or to enlighten e few things.
Glad you are looking forward to our debut.

@strangerhoncho / "the name Adorned Graves":

Yes we are german and no native english
                            speakers.
We choose our Bandname about 20 years ago and
we will not change it although you made cool
                            suggestions or reminders. Metal 3

                           a) It´s because we like the contradictional words
                               in our
                                name: Adorned (something beautiful, nice)
and the grave (something rotten, bones...).

It is simply fitting to and describing our music (beautiful melodies
and rough thrashy riffs and beats).

                           b) it is a quote from Matthew 23, 27 where Jesus
calls the pharisees white painted or decorated
graves (adorned graves). Our song adorned
                               graves refers lyrically to that.

I hope this will enlighten a few things and will help. Hopefully it doesn´t sound like grave with a dress to you that is not what we intended. It sould sound like flowered, decorated, painted or beautiful grave.

At least it is Jesus grave, we adore, because it is empty.

Hopefully this will help to be more memorable or understandable.

If not, tell me.

Cailen

P.S. The bands you noticed are exactly our favourite ones. Metal 1

P.P.S: If you like to, call our band like we do as a shortcut (when we talk about meeting eachother, recording or mixing)

inofficially  Smile    "The Graves"     Rockin Loud

@superjuice: No Nu-Metal, Black Metal or Metalcore vocals.

                     You´ll get traditional old school
epic, clean vocals, thrashy screams and shouts
or some death metal style like the vocals of the bands
                     listed above from strangerhoncho.

I think the name is pretty cool!  Also, every time I hear it, I immediately start singing the song Adorned Graves in my head haha.
