Anyone use VidAngel yet? Empty Anyone use VidAngel yet?

Has anyone used VidAngel yet? I have not but my close friend has twice now.

He was able to watch Deadpool and all the trash was removed making for an enjoyable film.

http://www.vidangel.com

Pay $20.00
Choose filtering options (or none at all)
Receive $19.00 in credit a day later (I think)
Therefore, movies in Standard Definition cost $1.00
I think HD movies are $2.00

I plan on using this very soon. I'll report back with my findings.

I watch part of the trailer and decided it wasn't a film for me.

YES.

We use VidAngel ALL THE TIME.

It is INSANELY customizable as far as what is edited or censored. You can set and control things anywhere from doing a hatchet job that could potentially ruin a film,  all the way down to making a single edit of something minor so you can still get the full experience as the film makers intended.  We've done the "minor edit" trick several times simply because it's literally cheaper to see a film that way on VidAngel than on any other pay streaming service.

You MUST make at least one edit for them to be able to stream to you.

In essence, they sell you an edited digital copy that you then sell back to them.

It is a FANTASTIC option.

Now, as far as Deadpool goes.......I watched with ONE edit.  There were several hundred instances VidAngel flagged for possible selection.  After having seen the "real deal", I can not imagine that editing out all the gore, language, innuendo, and other instances folks more "conservative" than I might find objectionable will leave the film coherent or meaningful.  That stuff is so woven thru the film, it'd be like running the film thru a blender.....

"You must be," said the Cat, or you wouldn’t have come here."

I'd like it if in horror films you could edit out the T&A and keep 100% of the gore.

It would make "who gets killed next" less obvious as well.
