New Four Star Revival music!

Hey everybody! I haven't been on here in forever! Hope everyone is doing well! Between work, church and the band, I don't get to spend as much time on the internet (or doing much of anything else for that matter) as I would like.

Anyway, for those that are interested, Four Star Revival will be releasing a new 5 song EP soon on Headstone Records. We hope to have it available by next month, but as soon as I have a solid release date I'll let everybody know. I know there are at least a few of you that have been anxiously awaiting some new music from the 4SR camp. It's hard to believe that we're coming up on 2 years since the release of the "Knights of the Revival" album! So I guess we're long overdue! Hopefully you haven't forgotten about us! If you haven't, and you're looking forward to some new 4SR songs, and/or planning to purchase the new EP, drop a reply here and let us know! We'd love to hear from you!

Has anyone heard anything from these guys? Their FB hasn't had new posts for almost two years and I'm hoping they're not broke up.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but they did indeed break up. I was chatting with Benny a bit on fb about it a month or two ago.

Bummer, not much in the Christian music world that leans toward that American power metal sound.

Yep. The Oracle type releases are few and far between.

Sad, but true.  I wonder how many of them discovered that playing Jesus music ('cause people pitch a hissy now if you say "Christian rock" or "Christian metal") discovered you really can't make a ton of money doing this after a couple of albums and tours and got out while they could.......

I am not saying this about Four Star Revival or any other band.  I am merely speculating.

Hate to hear that 4SR is done. I liked their album (though not so much the EP, for some reason) and would have enjoyed hearing more from these guys.

No telling what causes bands to split. Family and finances are probably the big two. Even some who DO succeed financially still decide to call it quits, so who knows!
