California becomes dhimmi state.

A dhimmi is a non-muslim that is in subjection to muslims.
California passed a law today AB 59, "muslim appreciation and awareness month."
Since the koran teaches that muslims are the best of peoples, any appreciation given them can only be due to people who recognizes themselves as under them, dimmis.

Well, nobody's paying dhimmi taxes yet... but of all religions they could "appreciate", why islam?

On the other side, "awareness" of islam (and its teachings) is a good thing. How that could lead to "appreciation" is a riddle to me though

You get to appreciate that muslims warred with everyone, came up with algebra, then warred for a centuries war.  I can see an art exhibit in the Governor's house already "Here's a picture of them killing those dirty Jews who were caravanning across the desert and weren't muslims!  Of course, Muhammad's not here because that would be blasphemy and deserving of death."  "And here's a painting of that rock from the hadith who called out to allah to kill the dirty jew who was behind him."  "And here's al-Jebra(or whatever)."  "Oh, oh, and here's 9/11!"

For some reason, this reminds me of "everybody is a winner" type attitudes where people try to force equality when it's clearly not equal.

While it's easy for me to accept that not every Muslim wants to blow us up, starting a national Muslim appreciation day in the shadow of a series of Muslim attacks, is a bit too much the other way.

I don't know what's worse, California passing a law for Muslim appreciation and awareness month, or having Pride LBGT appreciation week and displaying those stupid rainbow flags at my place of work and a parade in a neighboring city, St John's, Newfoundland. Another thing, having Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau being in the Pride Parade in Vancouver, British Columbia.

2 proven but not well known facts in history:
1. Hitler was going to put the Jews in work camps and not kill them. He consulted with a Muslim Cleric and he said the kill them.
2. Mohammed married a 6 year old and had sex with her when she was 9.

One thing though, you have to understand that there is a wide variety beliefs under the banner of Islam. It ranges to everything such as ISIS type of beliefs on one spectrum. And then, what could be considered " charismatic " within the Sufi Muslims on the other end of the spectrum. I would say that a large portion of American Muslims are simply blindly following a religion that they were born into. Its more cultural rather than heartfelt devotion. When you look at Roman Catholics around the world, you see a similar thing there as well.

With all the " islam " talk going on, I think videos like these can go a long way in helping Christians understanding Muslims...
