Anyone following "The Union of Sinners and Saints"?

I'm jealous!  I'd love to see these guys!  I got to see White Heart many years ago with Rachel Rachel opening.  I never got to see Petra.  This will probably be as close as I ever get.

I enjoyed the "live tweet" effect last night.     Glad it was a good time.

My daughters and a couple of friends went for night two  tonight, featured acts were 7eventh Time Down, Plumb, and For King and Country.....and Union played an unadvertised acoustic set!

I've heard the album and I wasn't impressed with the music, to be honest. It should have been a lot heavier than what we got, in my opinion.

I think that its perfect just the way it is.  This is an aging group of musicians making an album that they will like.  They brought enough rock for their aging fans as well.  I don't think that they tried to do a metal album by any means.  They just showed that they've still got the chops.  This is as heavy as John's most recent solo albums, so I am very pleased with this.

This is still worlds better than the Guardian Kickstarter album.

New single just released from The Union Of Sinners and Saints:

Seeing that I love John Schlitt's voice and his solo music, this sounds very good to me.  It isn't metal; nor is he trying to be.  He seems to be making rock that he enjoys, and I dig it.  When they finish this album, I would definitely consider adding it to the coolection.

I rather like the track.  It's melodic and catchy.
Let's see what else they come up with down the road....

My favorite work of theirs is the self-titled EP (not the full-length).  Unfortunately I've only ever seen it sold at the show.
