Been listening to this band today..what an awesome talent this band was.. fantastic guitar work. Any other fans?

Oh yes. So many catchy songs from this band. Wait, Little Fighter, When the Children Cry and, my favorite, Tell Me.

Mike Tramp totally ruins this song.  It starts out like a Quiet Riot slam fest then here comes Mike's morose crooning. Ugh.

Vitto is one of the Top 5 guitarists in the 80's.  He seamlessly combines every trick you can perform on guitar without it being gimmicky.  I also love Greg D'angelo's drum sound.  Mike doesn't ruin everything, just a few songs, and he really works on numbers like "Lights and Thunder" and other uptempo tunes.

This band also had one bizarre rise to fame and fall from fame.  They had many false starts with the first album getting scrapped by the record label, getting picked up by another, who then folded shortly afterward.  The first single they released off Pride, "Wait," went unnoticed by radio until 7 months later when MTV started playing it.  Then they just abruptly ended the band in 91 and Vito went AWOL.

I really liked Mike's singing on this song and all of their songs.. Vito had some family issues as well as injuring his wrist real bad. Thats why he quit...To this day he says he feels too much pain when playing metal guitar to play in a band. This band was huge...The first album went Gold and the next 2 albums went platinum and the mane attraction album was accompanied by a major world tour..some dates with stryper and hurricane..  when the children cry was played on Mtv constantly for over 2 year and still shows up on alot of 80s compilation albums...
Alot of bands only had a few albums of fame and then vanished...but a band who 30 years later is still known didn't really vanish..did they? They just broke up.

Like the band quite a bit, but Tramp's liberal politics creeped into the lyrics a little too often. Vito Bratta was incredible.

As I recall,  they had a pretty good cover of Radar Love. Do I have the right band?

Yes Love this band.  So much so that when I got married 20 years ago we walked in to a White Lion song off of Main Attraction instead of here comes the bride.

One of them was also on the Amazing race which was very cool.  He lost his passport though and so was eliminated.

This isn't the normal genre I listen to, but I had to check it out after an epic description like that.
Very accurate.  In addendum, dude sounds like he needs a Kleenex for his "stuffy dose".

I like his sound..i can understand the words...more than i can say for black metal...
