No Sleep Till Megiddo Records?
Is this supposed to be a Christian label? Or perhaps one that does both secular and Christian?

The label is run by a cool guy named Kai and yes he has both Christian and secular black/ambient/noise/doom/death/thrash releases in his Germany based shop. No satanic lyrics though. He is a regular over at The Blackest Light (Christian black metal forum). I have several No Sleep titles myself, great record label.

Thank you for a straight ahead answer.
It doesn't bother me he does that, but I mostly prefer to stick with Christian bands, so it's good to know to take a little extra time to look into unfamiliar bands on that label.

There's a "Christian Black Metal" section that's just for Christian music. There are a couple other Christian bands on there like Faithless Minutes Devoured (funeral doom/drone) but most of the Christian ones are black metal on that label.

Looks like I'm to blame for blurring the lines further.
I'm the guy behind the Ankou Awaits releases on No Sleep Till Megiddo.
Those releases don't have a Christian theme to the lyrics.
...but as a Christian, lyrically, its kind of the ultimate "safe secular" and based on Welsh mythology and lore, if you like cool stories.

Blurred lines are ok because "Christian-ness" is music is a continuum, not black-and-white. I personally want to know where a band falls on the continuum because I do have a cut-off point in how "Christian" a band is. It's not judgmental, bands/artists can do whatever they want, it's a personal/Holy Spirit conviction in my life. It just means that the "Is ________ a Christian band" question matters.

I certainly respect personal convictions regarding music and completely understand why a Christian wouldn't to listen to something offensive or causes friction with their faith.
I don't really understand how someone could be "Christian BAND or bust" especially considering their favorite movie is probably not in the Christian bubble.
Not trying to rock the boat or spark defenses.
I'm just saying I don't understand it.
Then again, there are people who don't understand why I cannot or will not have even one sip of alcohol ever again...

Re: No Sleep Till Megiddo Records?
I can't speak for others but for me music affects me at a deeper, more spiritual level than movies do. I still have standards in movies though.
I also understand why my convictions are seemingly contradictory, whether compared to movies or books, or within "gray area" music. I try to avoid sounding Pharisaical when I talk about it because while it's an absolute standard for me I recognize the freedom in Christ others might have that I don't.
