Support Dale Huffman (Please Read)
For the full story you can see the topic in the prayer section:
https://thecmr.forumotion.com/t8649-dale-huffman-sad-news-please-read-and-support
I am reposting this here because it gets more traffic. I will spare the details as you can read them in the above referenced thread and on the Go Fund Me Page below, but what it boils down to is Dale is facing some extreme health problems right now and things are not looking great, so I would like to encourage anyone who can to donate to help support his family:

Whether you know Dale or not, or whether you listened to Metal Pulse or not, he has been a longstanding contributor to the Christian metal community through his work in Metal Pulse Radio. Even if you can only afford to give $10, every bit will help.
And of course Dale and his family could also use all of our prayers.

I saw this in the prayer requests thread.
I remember fishingd all the way back on the Blabberboard.
If I get any cash for Christmas, I'll be sending some his way.

The last update posted suggested the doctors haven't even given him that long. Its never too late for God to pull someone through though.

Re: Support Dale Huffman (Please Read)
On November 29th his wife posted on his Facebook that he's back home from the hospital. David (aka Musican_DM) and his wife went to visit them recently. I know they're back home too now but I haven't heard anything more. David may be able to shed some light on how Dale is doing.

Latest update:
Update 12/4/15:
The last update seemed to have vanished, so i will give a recap of that before posting the new info.
2 weeks ago, after having been sent home a few days before, dad started to get bad again. Mom called the doctor and he said to get dad to the ER. They ran their tests and it showed an issue with his bowels. They prepped him for surgery and went in to fix the problem. Turns out the largest of his tumors in his colon had cause his bowels to perforate in a couple of spots from friction. His bowels had started seaping into his abdominal cavity. The doctors patched up the perforations and cleaned everything they could.
The surgery has a 25% success rate. The other 75% of the time, either the patches don't last or an infection occurs, either way it proves fatal to the patient.
The doctors told mom that it was time to call family in because it, so often, just doesn't work. The doctors changed his life expectancy from 6 month-2 years down to 1-2 weeks.
On November 23rd, my family and I started showing up (more like swarming... bless the medical staff and their patience of our large family) on Washington.
Now for the newest update,
Dad was sent home from the hospital the day after Thanksgiving. His bowels started functioning correctly again and he has developed no infections and the patches are holding! The doctors have changed his time back to 6 months -2 years!
He is still easily exhausted and has a long road ahead of him, but he is fighting this with all he has.
We are so thankful for those who are praying and those who have donated. They are such a blessing, there is no way to properly show how thankful we are!
Mellissa Dishman
Our family with Dad in the hospital. Bottom row, left to right: Daniel, Katie, Mellissa, Dale and Kilie. Middle from left to right: Cheryl, Zev, Amy and Judy. Back row, left to right, Jarah, Tony, and Will.

Re: Support Dale Huffman (Please Read)
Heard through the grapevine that Dale is now pretty much under hospice care. Please pray for him and his family.
This hits home for me because I went through the colon cancer ringer as well - with stage 3 rectal cancer. It takes many lives and is currently the #2 cause of death in males living in the US. The only reason I'm not in hospice myself is because God has more for me to do on this earth.
Lord, I ask that you please be with Dale and his family. Please guide them and give them strength through this growing experience. Father, I ask that Dale not suffer physical pain at this time, and if its Your will for him to come home soon, that he does so with joy in his heart.

Re: Support Dale Huffman (Please Read)
I hate to hear that his battle is over, but I know he is in a better place. Rest with Jesus, brother Dale.
I wish I had known him better. I knew him here, through some of his many projects to shine light on Christian metal and Jesus. I can't say we were close, though.
