On a related note....
Around this time of year, I like to ask atheists " who " they thank on this day as I get the opportunity. After all, they do not believe in the One who is the source of all life and good things. It usually provokes some good reflection on their part.
Now my kids, who are not Believers,( and really somewhat of agnostics ) hate it when I ask them this question. I tell them in essence, they really should just devote the holiday to me and their mom since we are the " source " of their food, shelter and livelyhood. They never really now what to say to that. But it plants a seed for them to contemplate their Creator.
