Revulsed ~ Infernal Atrocity

Finally got my hands on the debut Revulsed album today featuring Jayson Sherlock on drums, did I say this was brutal?!!  Amazing Death Metal album, only downside is it's only 33 minutes long!!!

I ordered this CD as well.  Can't wait for it to arrive in my mailbox!

I love it. Length is about right given how brutal it is, the problem I find with a lot of this kind of stuff is that the albums go on for far too long.

Just listened to the great podcast with Jayson Sherlock on As The Story Grows, and was wanting to pick this up when it came out.  Gotta go grab it!

Strangerhoncho, yeah I heard the podcast with Jayson too. Excited about this album, the lyric video was brutal, reminded me of bands like Dying Fetus and Deeds of Flesh

Music sounds great from the samples, but I don't care for those type of vocals...

I think the album sounds great, but I'm waiting to order until those long sleeve shirts are printed!

I havent had a chance to sample, but how far from Morti's Self Titled is it?

I mean vocally, what album is it closest to?

Not really like Mortification, vocals a little I guess like Broken Flesh or Defeated Sanity!!  Musically like heavy Suffication, Morbid Angel possibly, Cannibal Corpse etc etc.  

Revulsed and Broken Flesh are the best and heaviest Christian Death Metal bands at the moment, nothing touches the IMO!!!

Well, given it's the guy from Defeated Sanity on vocals, that's not a surprise

Don't know any of those other bands they are compared to, but the vocals remind me of Metanoia...

I'm really liking this band so far!!!

For some reason this thread escaped my attention before. I took note of this album in the new 'album covers 2015' thread though ...

I'm definitely planning on buying this album soon!!!

I really enjoy some Brutal Death Metal and Deathgrind sometimes.

Yeah this has been on my radar since it was released. I need to pick it up. Best Christian death metal I've heard since Bloodwork.

I still have 2 copies left and so far as I know I am the ONLY USA store to have this.  If enough people want this I will get more from the label so as to keep you guys in the USA from having to pay the higher shipping from over seas.

If you like brutal death, you need this album. It's excellent.

Musically, this is like Suffocation and Cannibal Corpse. Throw in some latest Sympathy as well.

How much is Revulsed? This is probably MY Christian Metal album of the year!!! Seriously. This is how I love my Death Metal - BRUTAL!!!

Though I love traditional Death Metal too. Also love Melodic Death Metal but anyway - back to the subject at hand.



I just heard this album at YouTube and I will say it IS my favorite Christian Metal album of year, 2015 - so I do have one! I had no idea about it until now though ... I've not been gripped by an album like this in a long time!!!

I don't do downloads unless there is no other choice. 99.99% of my collection is genuine CD. I've only been forced to download a few albums so far.
