Believer - Transhuman

Gave this another spin today, haven't listened to it in quite some time, I think it's much better than I initially gave it credit...

Transhuman is probably my favorite after Extraction and Sanity. I really like the bass sound on the album, especially on this song.

The new Catholic Answers mag has a cover story on "Transhumanism", I wonder if Believer is warning of the dangers involved in this as well...

I don't have this album yet! Need to get it soon!

Nothing beats Dimensions, one of my all time favorites by any band!

Oh ya.  The tone and arc of the lyrics from beginning to end of the album becomes progressively bleaker to the point the last song is about being completely immortal but completely consumed by anger.  Ain't exactly painting a rosie picture of the possibilities of transhumanism.

Gonna have to re-visit Gabriel now...

Gabriel is awesome. I always delete the noise tracks at the end when I upload the album to my phone. Then it's a pretty solid listen beginning to end.
