Christian hardcore is more biblical than worship ?

Either this is a joke, or a very simplistic and poorly rationalized view...

...I lean towards joke though.

I'd rather praise to A) something off the first Petra Praise album, B). hardcore or C). or sing hymns...than worship to any of the generic praise songs made popular over the last two decades...the ones that sound like some guy with an acoustic guitar and no musical talent composed in a day.

Of course its a a joke,,Christian Sleaze/Glam Metal (Main Line Riders, Gethsemene Rose, etc) is obviously the most biblical form of praise music!

A lot of very recent P&W is not musically - or even lyrically - interesting to me anymore.

This is going to sound odd coming from me, being a huge Death and Thrash fan...

I prefer Exclusive Psalmody.

I don't understand this thought process that says we need music to worship.

My best worship time comes when I'm calm and quiet, and not distracted by music.

Yeah, the massive emphasis on "worship" these days as "communing with God through music in a spectator setting" doesn't really reflect anything in Scriptures or in historic Christianity.  There are barely any mentions in the New Testament of music or singing. 

The word worship in the bible doesn't really have anything to do with music.
