Amelioration

So here is the new Amelioration song "Restorification", which is a fun fusion of cybergrind and dubstep.

Recorded a new Amelioration song for the Deathtones Records 10 Seconds Compilation Vol 2. As the name suggests the compilation consists of 10 second songs of the grindcore/noisecore/harshnoise variety. The compilation is secular, so be warned if you go looking it up.

Anyways here is the song, Reverential Panegyric, a 10 second CyberGrindStep worship song.

Thanks for adding it to FireStream by the way. It still has some BM overtones but not so much as my old logo. I considered going for the full on impossible to read grindcore logo but I like for it to be at least somewhat readable.

No problem.    I really dig the new logo.  The old one was pretty cool but this just looks more professional.  I'm looking forward to hearing those remixes!

Have you listened to Becoming The Archetype's remixes, entitled Celestial Progression?  It's an EP available via iTunes and whatnot.  It's pretty rad!

You definitely should!  It's six tracks: one remixed from one person and the other four by another person/group - all songs taken from Celestial Completion.  They're all done very well.  The last song is particularly great IMO.  Here's track 1:

I have been surprised by the positive response I've received from the grindcore community with Amelioration. Of course given the size of the grindcore community I know thats not saying a whole lot. When I first started making music I was doing it for fun but apparently alot of people have been enjoying the tunes

Given the rather short nature of grindcore and its microsongs I am planning to release the debut in 80mm mini-cd format, which have a capacity of 24 min. I feel this is perfect for grindcore, for those unfamiliar with mini-cds, this is the same format Possession used for their Scourge and Fire EP

The album art is coming along and I am planning on having a brand new logo designed professionally which is quite exciting. Once we have some final artwork and tracklist in place I will post it here.

Glad to hear it, I have been working on the grindcore staple of microsongs lately and they have been quite a bit of fun to create. I also just finished a cover of "As the Deer"

Things are coming along nicely, currently have 28 songs done for the album, and working a nice piece of progressive cybergrind right now. Later I will post the new logo for those who havent seen it yet

Way cool!  Definitely continue to keep us posted!  (The new logo looks mighty cool by the way.)

I am currently experimenting with computer themed lyrics to go along with the cybergrind genre and the logo, similar to Grave Robber's horror symbolism, but with computer terms. Heres the new logo though:
