Red Lamb (featuring Dan Spitz)
After all these years, I finally bought a copy of the album.
Anyone think there will ever be a follow up?

I really hope/wish. I love Red Lamb, the best songs are The Cage, Puzzle Box, and Temptation.

I don't see a reason why this can't be posted in the Christian section.

I wasn’t sure if it qualified.
I thought it might be like a Galactic Cowboys type deal… some Christians in a band, but not necessarily a Christian band.

Here’s a recent interview. Although Dan uses a lot of bad language…
No mention of doing any new music with Red Lamb.

Red Lamb is considered still active according to Wikipedia, but I think it might have been a one off project with the main goal being to help spread awareness for autism (Dan has twin sons with it).
I haven’t heard anything about Dan’s current status with his Messianic Jewish (Christian) walk with God.

I heard that Red Lamb stopped because the album didn't have enough success. I believe Dave Mustaine preformed live for them near the end?TZ75 wrote:Red Lamb is considered still active according to Wikipedia, but I think it might have been a one off project with the main goal being to help spread awareness for autism (Dan has twin sons with it).

Dan’s main interest is his watchmaking and repair career. He makes a lot of money maintaining expensive luxury watches. He is supposedly one of the best in the world. He had been trained in an exclusive school in Switzerland.
Not to say he doesn’t still love music and play guitar… but that doesn’t pay the bills
I was hoping he would just release music for the love of it in his spare time (like Guy Ritter and Gary Lenaire do with Flood). Almost everyone has day jobs. Doing music full time and making a living is rare nowadays (unless you are a big name like Metallica). I’m not even sure the hired guns in Megadeth make that much to live on. Dave Mustaine gets the Lion’s share. But maybe they do…
A band like Red Lamb was brand new and not pulling in big crowds.
