LORDCHAIN - The Chastisement of our Peace (August 30th, 2024)

LORDCHAIN to release the bands latest and greatest album 'The Chastisement of our Peace'. Roxx began working with Lordchain on the 2022 release 'Surviving The Wicked Storm' and is very happy to once again be working with the band. 

LORDCHAIN has been recording, playing and going strong since 1990, celebrating 34 years together as an active ministry minded Christ centered band. Having eleven full length albums, four EP’s and one compilation under their belt, we are very excited to once again partner with the band to bring you their twelfth full length release entitled ‘The Chastisement of our Peace’

‘The Chastisement of our Peace’ continues on in the heavy metal arena the band has always been following but they take it to the next level with this one. Featuring 10 brand new tracks that LORDCHAIN fans are going to eat up as they prepare for this brand new album! The first single “I Will Live Again” is being serviced to radio now and is available for streaming below.

Their albums lately have been stellar. I love this band. Can’t wait for it.

Never listened to them. What style/sub-genre are they?

I would say straight up Heavy Metal/Hard Rock…unlike their side project Step Cousin which is more Thrashy.
They are pretty diversified…if you like crunching heavy guitars with melodic Yet sometimes gritty vocals with an occasional growl, then I think you’d like them.

While I have liked them ever since I discovered them when they released "Soulever", these guys have been on fire for the past few albums.  Their worship projects have been great as well and different than the other rock worship projects of the past few years that regurgitate popular CCM tracks.

I have this pre-ordered and cannot wait for it to come!
