I've wanted to like Leah in the past; I like 1) female vocals in metal, 2) celtic influences in metal, 3) Canadians doing music. But I've felt that the musical arrangements were a bit sub par because of her focus on the vocals. As well, I was a bit unsure of some of the lyrics/influences being a bit new agey. According to your review, the music is top notch. Could you comment a bit more on the lyrics? Are they Christian, or closer to Christian-friendly?

A mix from what I could tell.

She made a few posts promoting her new album on a pretty obscure Reformed metal FB page and IIRC claimed to be Reformed herself, for whatever that's worth. I've never looked into her lyrics or anything though, as that type of music just isn't my thing.

But it should be.

Listened to a couple of the free songs on bandcamp . They're really good. My daughters really like her because of the female vocals, Christian lady, and the fact that she's Canadian
