Renewal & Strength

It sounds a little extreme, and I'm not exactly sure how I got myself in this position in the first place, but I am starting over in life from square one.

Starting over in college
I have 0 friends
Broke up with long term boyfriend
Born again

In the last two years I have been hurt beyond belief by those who claimed to love me. As much as it hurt, after the storm has settled I'm happy I went through all of this, because I've been incredibly humbled. I'm not the same person, but in the best way possible, and I believe God allowed all of the bad stuff to happen in order to show me that I needed Him. In the past, I would say that I was a Christian just to appease my friends and family, but have recently given my life to Him completely. I had no idea what that meant before.

So I suppose I'm just asking for renewal and strength. Also, that God will put people in my life to help me grow as a person. I have a long road ahead of me...

Thanks so much guys. It really means a lot. It's hard to, because there's a lot of bad blood between my old friends and I. It feels awful, but God keeps emptying me out and refreshing me. Church this morning was amazing!

Oh, gotchya. I used to have a ton of satanist buddies (a few atheists). I never was one, but they were people I called friends only you can imagine how that changed for them when they found out. Lol. I've never so much as blinked a judgmental word to them, but I suppose they were afraid of it and broke contact.
