Re: New Crimson Moonlight
Just listened to Wings of Death. Its way overproduced and a bit 'two note' in the melody for what I prefer, but the drumming and vocals are phenomenal. I think it sounds good.

Re: New Crimson Moonlight
I agree with Thomas. The vocals on Wings Of Death are great (I love that echo / panning of the vocals at the beginning) and the drumming is unreal. But the simple melody doesn't grab me and gets a bit wearisome over the course of 4 and a half minutes. I do like the production though, although more bass would be nice.

I listened to wings of death the other day and thought it sounded like it could have been from the same recording session as the last ep.

I laughed when i saw those patches as i imagined you grabbing em up. Usually bands change up there sound from album to album if there's quite a gap. I thinks it been a good 8 years since Crimson Moonlight put out a new recording. Playing Nordic Fest soon, so could be again new recording activity also or Endtime just got around to putting out stuff from years ago?

Re: New Crimson Moonlight
Akal Abaddon is marginally better than the 1st single but I feel like C.M. is going backwards and just repeating themselves, but not even that compellingly.
Re: New Crimson Moonlight
This is pretty good. In the same territory that Skald in Veum is covering but I prefer Skald thus far. I think I'll always enjoy the style of early Crimson Moonlight more. I honestly don't listen to much besides Eternal Emperor, Songs From the Archives, and a little of The Covenant Progress. I did like Divine Darkness to some degree so we'll see.
