I never cared much for Slayer or Anthrax but here we go.

1. Metallica
I know that some people think they're overrated, but are they actually overrated or are you just tired of them? They wouldn't be as popular as they are if they didn't deserve it.

The singer/bassist my be Catholic but he writes the worst lyrics... except for Cannible Corpse, Mayhem and Ghost I guess.

They also have a song called "God Hates Us All". If I remember correctly he was asked about it and his response was "Well I don't actually mean it."

If you guys haven’t been impressed with Anthrax I strongly recommend checking out Spreading the Disease and Persistence of Time. Those are my favorites. Spreading is very melodic and lighthearted (for thrash), while Persistence is much darker and heavier.

I like Anthrax. I just prefer the two that start with Me and have some association with Mustains. Among the Living has one of my all-time favorite guitar tones.

Later I might try to rank all the albums even though I only know about half of them.
