Does his voice, at times, sound a bit like older Steven Curtis Chapman? This would be a good thing! When I was listening to Everything Matters a few nights ago, his voice was reminiscent of another singer that I'd heard somewhere, and I thought it might be SCC.

I've only got 2 or 3 SCC albums, that's why I was quite sure if I was correct on my comparison.

His Christmas album, The Music of Life, is probably still Janice's and my favourite Christmas album.

For the Sake of the Call is probably my favorite of his, although Signs of Life was the one that made me a fan.

It was Janice who brought SCC into my life when we got married; I just checked and it is Signs of Life that we have. This is another artist I'd like to explore at some point.

^^ Even though I've only been on the CMR for less than a year, I've already thought it would be wonderful to go on a holiday and visit some of you, even just for part of a day. But I know that, for me, it's still quite a few years out. It'd have to happen when our kids have all flown the coop.

And I just heard yesterday that the vaccine mandate was lifted for foreign travelers! So all I need is a passport (yes, I have not traveled very much). Kerrick, where are you again? If it's south of Alberta/Saskatchewan, it could be done. But if your close to one of the coasts, that would still put me 2000 miles away!
