I don't see many political comments on his YouTube channel.
I would see him as a socialist due to his ministry with the homeless. However, I have seen he is very aware of the "woke" problem in our society and he looks to be all against it.
And for the record, Dust, I couldn't care less of your thoughts regarding God. Tread carefully, dude...you're participating on a site mainly populated by those who love Him and trust Him. Which is precisely why I put you on ignore some time ago. I guess you can have eternity to clench your puny fists and wag your haughty tongue in a place full of fire and brimstone, if you so choose.
End rant.

Good points of view, guys. I don't know, pastor Bob might be against some points here and there. Nowadays, we have completely forgotten that between right and left there is center.
I don't need to agree 100% with this or that side. And we always have to look deeper on what we believe and check if the politics is moving us towards Christianity or not.
The flag we all raise proudly is about Christ. The means used to raise this flag can differ In a way or another.

Though it is a polemic topic to talk about, we shouldn't be so afraid, one mentioned the word politics and I asked why it would be so controversial. If someone simply can't answer that pacifically, then it could show lots of immaturity and lack of sympathy.
I am ok with people that differ politically with me. In fact, I've learned that it is almost impossible to change someone's point of view. It is like hoping someone could change the football team he supports.
Anyway. The thing is, I follow Pastor Bob and his ministry in Sanctuary International and have not seen a strong political position. If there's so, I wish to know, so I will be more careful from now on and then decide in a soon future how it affects the way I think of Christianity and If I should still follow the church.
Just it.
Anyway, if you're a christian isn't the point to believe to the point no man or thing can make you question your belief (as in why would Bob, a mere man, change your views of being a christian etc... Ah, you know how the game goes. More power to ya second wind.

Easy tiger. I'm not feeling anything and certainly not superior. And here's just a sample of irony from the christian camp for ya on superior attitudes—Black Rider wrote:Ignore Dust, he's just here to feel superior to us deluded Christians.
Tread carefully, dude...you're participating on a site mainly populated by those who love Him and trust Him. Which is precisely why I put you on ignore some time ago. (okay, fair enough statement considering I spouted about hating politicans, religions and gods of any kind) But then— I guess you can have eternity to clench your puny fists and wag your haughty tongue in a place full of fire and brimstone, if you so choose.
I don't about you, but passive aggressive statements using places of fictional torment used that i seems like a pretty superior move in my opinion, and also a pretty blow. Hell is used for two reasons, to induce fear of death and bring you into submission, or as a passive aggressive move, such as our friend Balemaster here has used it. I know for sure 'ol master there wouldn't say that to my face and if he did it would be a mistake. I wasn't gonna cry about it but since you brought it up, there ya go. So on that note I'll leave you be.

Why would you feel threatened by a place "of fictional torment"? You seem very secure in what you claim to believe.
As a Christian, that would be like someone threatening to use something "fictional", like "the force" from Star Wars on me or something LOL!

Or hell is real and people don't want you to go there. I just wonder why you're here since you seem to think we're a bunch of brain washed dummies. And don't act like you don't feel superior, your comments are telling.
And the implied threat is a nice touch, really brings the point home.

Never called anyone dummies.... and to the best of my knowledge I have never insulted anyone personally. Yes I have strong opinions on music, grow a spine. Also I never made a big deal of Balemaster's comments until you brought up superiority.
No Magnus I'm not threatened by a fictional place made by what has t be an extremely vain God that needs everyone to love him or they burn in hell, I was trying to make a point about the passive aggressive behavior of Christians using Hell as a threat and the way they project their own imagined fear and threatened feelings on others. It's kind of sneaky really. Hell was created to keep you submissive, like a fairy tale to a child.
And big breathe... and also he wouldn't say that to my face, so why say it as a snide passive aggressive comment here, that's all it is. There's no very telling anything in my comments Blackrider I'm very direct. Be honest, would he say that in real life and how do you think someone is going to react. here's a clue, they ain't going turn the other cheek like an idiot. Just get real you know. Right then, think I have said my piece. Peace and out.

Dust,
Not attacking you at all here, but just a quick note. I’ve stayed out of this because I don’t find much benefit in internet arguments. But I think many of us are more offended when you insult our God than when you insult us. I don’t care if you think I’m an idiot—not saying you’ve called me that, of course, just saying. In fact, I often am (ask my wife!). But when you insult my God that’s when I personally am offended. Now God doesn’t need me nor anyone to defend him, and I’m not looking to attack you at all. Just explaining where I think some of my brothers are coming from.
Praying for you.

why take offense when the unregenerate insult God?
they're only doing exactly what Jesus said they would do...

If someone insults my wife or kid, I’m certainly gonna be offended.
Being offended doesn’t mean retaliating.

Dust, read this to yourself. Observe how your comment is constructed. The snide comments thrown in. You know very well what you are doing. I (as well as many others here) have encountered your kind over and over throughout the years and it's always the same script. You're not as slick as you think you are.
But carry on with your quest to "enlighten" us to the folly of our beliefs.

People have souls. Pagans and occultists call it energy. Either way, the souls continue beyond this physical realm. Where do souls go that have caused horrible pain and destruction on earth? You want to call God “the universe”… same question? Where’s justice? You get to have a peaceful dirt nap after hurting or killing other people? Doesn’t make sense.
Not just Christianity, but basically all religions have a type of consequence for evil. It’s a basic human trait to want justice. Humans are the only creature that do things with full knowledge. Animals don’t plan to kill or do harm (except when they kill for food or in self defense). Humans know the difference between right and wrong. In other words… good and evil does exist. Living with God, or being separated from God. The word “Hell” triggers non-believers.
To me, Jesus and his teachings make perfect sense and it’s what I believe.
