IF YOU LOOK AT MY PROFILE YOU WILL FIND I AM MUCH OLDER THAN THE AVERAGE METAL LISTENER. THESE ARE SUPPOSE TO BE THE MATLOCK AND MOR YEARS BUT I JUST CAN'T DO IT. IN THE LATE 80s I WAS FOUNDER OF THE CHRISTIAN HEAVY METAL BAND FAIRWARNING. WE HAD PRETTY GOOD LOCAL SUCCESS BUT AFTER A TRAGIC SUICIDE BY A CLOSE FRIEND THE BAND WENT SEPARATE WAYS. WE WERE STILL AND ARE GROUNDED IN THE FAITH OF OUR LORD JESUS BUT THE LOSS WAS DEVASTATING. WE HAVE COME BACK TOGETHER SOME 30 YEARS LATER TO FINISH WHAT WE STARTED, BEWARE THE BEAST. IF THIS ALBUM WAS A SERMON IT WOULD BE HELL FIRE AND BRIMSTONE. WELL BEFORE LEFT BEHIND, I CO-WROTE WITH MY BROTHER (DRUMMER) THIS CONCEPT ALBUM WHICH CHRONICLES THE END TIMES THROUGH THE EYES OF AN UNNAMED INDIVIDUAL, THE RAPTURE, THE RISE OF THE ANTICHRIST, MARTYRDOM, ARMEGEDDON AND THE JUDGEMENT. BY ALL ACCOUNTS, THERE WERE NO OTHER BANDS AT THAT TIME AS HEADSMASHING HEAVY AS WE WERE. OUR ONLY CONTEMPORARIES WERE SECULAR (METALLICA, IRON MAIDEN, QUEENSRYCHE, etc.) CHECK OUT OUR VIDEOS ON YOUTUBE, ESPECIALLY I-24 BAND PRESENTS I-24 BAND. IT KIND OF EXPLAINS US. When were these songs recorded?

We recorded this album 11/21-6/22. The original was done in 1989 with only half of the album being recorded. Making $7 an hour and spending $100 an hour for studio time, math was against us.

Not bad, I'll check out more. Not to fight but Christian Thrash was a thing in 89.

This is really good classic heavy metal!! Great riffs, melodies and song structuring!

I may not have been aware. Petra, Stryper, Bloodgood were the heaviest bands I knew about.  Thanks. If you remember I would like to check them out.
