Siloam - high quality hard rock
Just discovered this band. Excellent!
Great songs, playing, and production.
I'd say they are like a cross between Skid Row/Dangerous Toys with a bit of Dokken/XYZ thrown in.
What do you think about this band and why don't more of you guys talk about them?

I have Dying to Live. Great stuff and deeper, more personal lyrics than many Christian rock bands.
They weren't talked about a lot here because until recent reissues they were really hard to find.

Sweet Destiny is a great album, I don't know if they have released anything else though

They actually released four albums that I know of. The first two were definitely in the same genre despite having a mostly new band on the second album. Their next one was alternative, and their final one was pop punk. Their first two are the only ones in my coolection.

I’ve long been searching for their stuff, but to no avail. Now that they’ve been reissued, I need to snag them.

I'd love to get those first two. Had the cassettes in the day.

Yes and no. That and not being on Frontline or Pakaderm didn't help their popularity at all. Dying to Live also came out well after their style faded from popularity. We talk about other bands not affiliated with Sanctuary more than we talk about Siloam here though.

Re: Siloam - high quality hard rock
Dying To Love is a very good album, I've always liked it and thought it was very under-rated.
The guitar solo in the first song (Apathy) is one of the best I've ever heard.
I did not care for Sweet Destiny though, I found it to be too lightweight and the song-writing to be lacking.
Have not heard any of the other album(s) though. I only know about the 3rd one.
