Christian Metal Mount Rushmore
What bands would be on your Christian metal Mount Rushmore (per genre)
Death Metal:
Mortification Really the first ones to break into the genre from the Christian scene
Crimson Thorn Took everything a step further and continued in Morts footsteps and brought the Christian scene what I feel like was the first Brutal DM band
Living Sacrifice Their 2 pure DM records were influential for other bands and brought alot of attention in the secular realms
Extol Kind of a wildcard because they were a bridge between BM and DM and just really talented.
Thrash:
Sacrament Both lineups took Christian thrash to new places and I think influenced alot of future bands.
Detritus Strong catalog, not sure what else to say.
Believer Just like LS and Mort the paved the way for cross over success
Vengeance Rising First of its kind in the Christian scene, nothing more to say.
Power/Symphonic/Progressive Metal
Theocracy Very talented in their genre and once again a band that was able to bridge to commercial success
Seventh Avenue The Christian answer to Helloween? Good catalog of music and I just love Herbies sound and tone.
Sacred Warrior Great music catalog and you got Rey Parra
Bloodgood One of the bands that has powered and influenced so many others.
Hard Rock/Metal:
Saint One of the firsts to bring that straight forward Heavy Metal sound and did it so well
REZ Probably influenced all the bands obove to some point
Rob Rock Not sure in his large catalog that he has a clunker of an album
Narnia Not much needed to say and mnaybe should be in the above category....
Those are the manin genres I listen to and you could branch out as much as you want but who do you got?

Yeah there's really not much for doom/death in the Christian scene (unfortunately!). I agree with Paramaecium, though even Schaliach is a bit of a stretch IMO as I'd categorize them more melodic death with some doom influences. A lot of folks lump GROMS in there too but to my ears, they're a lot more death and very little doom.
My Silent Wake's first album could go on that list though sadly anything after that wouldn't. There are a handful of newer bands that maybe are too recent or small output to be carved into Rushmore just yet, but Dalit, Sawol, Ekklesiast, The Arbiter, Implacable, Crowned In Sorrow, and OLTAS are ones worth mentioning anyways.

Re: Christian Metal Mount Rushmore
Unblack:
Horde - The originators of the sub-genre and one of its best albums. Thine Hour Hast Come and Invert the Inverted Cross are two of the best Unblack songs.
Antestor - The Forsaken is one of the top Unblack albums of all time.
Crimson Moonlight - Early period CM is classic. Eternal Emperor is my favorite.
Kekal - One of the most underrated Unblack acts. Embrace the Dead is one of my Top 5 Unblack albums.
Hortor - Also highly underrated. A solid catalogue that is crowned by the masterpiece Dharma Esencia de Impureza.
There are many others I would include if I were to go further.
Death:
Mortification - One of the first and best: Those first three albums are some of the best Metal ever released.
Crimson Thorn - Unearthed is near perfect and my favorite DM album.
Sympathy - Arcane Path is an unheralded classic.
Implement - Best current DM band.
Necroblation - Unbelievable mixture of brutality, technicality, and groove.
Melodic Death Metal:
Schaliach - Sonrise stands toe to toe with any secular MDM release.
Immortal Souls - Better than stuff like Children of Bodom.
Lament - What a unique and awesome sound Lament has. Those first two albums are, again, as good anything secular.
Thrash:
Tourniquet - Stop the Bleeding is my number one Thrash album.
Sacrament - Haunts of Violence absolutely destroys.
Deliverance - First two are right up there with Metallica.
Seventh Angel - Pioneered a unique sound. I love the youthful intensity of The Torment.
Believer - Dimensions is a masterwork that stands toe to toe with stuff like Atheist (ironically).
Doom:
Doom is already a genre heavily influenced by Christianity from the start and many of the "secular" bands are actually Christian or Christian-friendly so this is a weird one.
Trouble/The Skull - One of the founders of the entire subgenre - My favorite is the fourth album.
Place of Skulls - The Black is Never Far
Nomad Son - First Light
Veni Domine - Fall Babylon Fall
Goliath - Great Trad Doom
Heavy:
Bloodgood - First two albums are amazing. Starting to listen to the others more.
Saint - Early stuff is some of the best Heavy Metal out there. Some good stuff later on too.
Stryper - Last four albums are their best and some of my favorites.
Diviner - Probably the best new Heavy Metal band.
Impellitteri - Love the stuff with Rob Rock. Last few albums absolutely shred.
Power/Progressive:
Sacred Warrior - It took me a long time to get into these guys but really enjoying Obessions and Master's Command.
Seventh Avenue - Great quality stuff up there with Helloween. Tales of Tales!
Narnia - Consistently great band. Love Christian Liljegren. Favorite album is Long Live the King.
Signum Regis - Sometimes these subgenres can be too fluffy. Not Signum Regis - fast and heavy.
Destra - One of the less known and coolest sounding bands in these subgenres. Love the bass work.
Horde - The originators of the sub-genre and one of its best albums. Thine Hour Hast Come and Invert the Inverted Cross are two of the best Unblack songs.
Antestor - The Forsaken is one of the top Unblack albums of all time.

Since it's Mt Rushmore, I am going to go with individuals so that it can actually look like Mt Rushmore (meaning having the 4 heads).

Robert Sweet (Stryper)
Rex Carroll (Whitecross)
Michael Bloodgood (Bloodgood)

I wasn't interpreting it that literally. This is all just a simulation anyway.

Re: Christian Metal Mount Rushmore
Mothy, you put Saint and Rob Rock under the Hard Rock/Metal category and Bloodgood under the Power Metal catrgory. I consider Saint and Rob Rock to be heavier than Bloodgood. For me, Saint and Rob Rock solo work to be Power Metal. Driver (Rob Rock's band/project) for me is more metal. Bloodgood for me tend to be a blend of Power Metal (parts of the debut and Detonation), Metal (parts of the Debut, Out of the Darkness, Dangerously Close, similar to Dio) and Commercial Metal (Rock in a Hard Place and All Stand Together eras). However, music is subjective and many of us get something different out of muisc.

I would swap Narnia and Bloodgood. I think Saint is traditional Heavy Metal and Rob Rock is kind of in-between Heavy and Power but I'm fine with him in Heavy.
