Justin Murr (Liberty 'n Justice) hospital update and GoFund Me support (very sad news)
Justin has been in the hospital with covid, and it is apparently getting worse.
Here is an update from his daughter Torrie on Facebook:
To give my dad’s Facebook friends an update:
An ICU nurse just called me and said that they did decide to intubate him today. She said they also did a chest X-Ray, and found air around his heart. She said that they have done a few X-Rays since they saw it, and it is getting worse. I’m starting to get really scared. If everyone could send prayers and positive thoughts my dads way, I’d really appreciate it.
This is her post on GoFundMe:
Hi everyone. This GoFundMe is for my dad, Justin, who tested positive for COVID-19. He was having trouble breathing, so he went to the hospital. They put him in the ICU and he has been there for almost a week. An ICU nurse called today and said they decided to intubate him and that they found air around his heart. She also said they did another X-Ray, and the air around his heart is getting worse. She said they can’t say how long he will be there. My dad is a commission salesman, so I’m making this to help with any medical expenses/bills while he is in the ICU and when he recovers. My family appreciates any and all help during this scary time. Thank you.
Justin is a great guy, and I hope we can all get behind him with prayers and, if you can afford it, some financial help.

Oh no, that is horrible news, I will certainly be praying for him (and his daughter). I only had one brief interaction with him and he was a really nice guy.

Update:
Yesterday
by Katorina Murr, Organizer
The doctor just called. She said that he is intubated still and is sedated and paralyzed. She said he has kidney damage, so they have a specialist looking into that. She said he is still requiring a lot of oxygen. She said it is slightly better than yesterday, but still overall the same. She said she doesn’t think he will be leaving anytime soon since he is sick. They have him on broad spectrum antibiotics and he isn’t allowed visitors.
Also thank you so much for the donations so far. Then mean so much to my family. It’s a scary time. Everyone keep praying as well.

I just read an update from his daughter, and it is not looking good.
It’s Torrie.
There was a conference call with all of my dad’s doctors today. My sister, my dad’s sister, his mom, and I were on it.
They gave us some very, very bad news. Please pray to Jesus for a miracle. Please.

Torrie posted this morning that the family is being allowed to go in to see him today, and that the doctors told them yesterday that he is not going to make it.

They turned his vent down from 90 to 80!!! They want it at 50. The lord hears everyone’s prayers. Keep praying for consistent improvements and a full recovery. Also pray that his lungs fully recover as well and he can come home eventually. Just pray.
Praying that this is God turning a miracle.

Today's update from Torrie
Update//
They had to go back to 90% for the ventilator. They’re going to get him completely off the fentanyl today. The nurse said they cleaned him this morning, and when they were moving him his oxygen went down to the 70s. They had to turn the vent up to 100% temporarily, but it’s back at 90%. His peep is still 16. They want it at 10. They said lowering his fentanyl has made his blood pressure come up, so he doesn’t need blood pressure medication. I asked her if anything is worse, and she said nothing is worse. She told me this is a marathon not a sprint. It’s a day by day thing at this point. They want his oxygen saturation above 88. It kept going from 89 to 90 back to 89 to 88 back to 89 and back and forth. It made it a little sick to watch it, so I left. I’ll go back later and see how he is doing. Just keep praying please.

Sad to say that Justin passed away today.

That sucks. For him, he’s not feeling any pain anymore. But for his family…

Re: Justin Murr (Liberty 'n Justice) hospital update and GoFund Me support (very sad news)
This was what Torrie posted on Facebook
September 27th, 2021.
Everyone knew a different version of my dad. Whether it was through music, work, high school, or if he was just someone you knew from Facebook. Out of every single version my dad was to different people, he saved the best version of himself for his kids. He was my favorite person. I could come to him with anything. I could tell him my deepest secrets, and he would never judge me. He made me belly laugh with his stories. He was genuinely the funniest person I’ve ever met. He was generous. He loved surprising us with things. He had the biggest personality in the room. He was blunt, but in the funniest way. He loved music. He was sensitive and would overthink everything like me. We would talk for hours and just listen to each other. He would always tell me the importance of making memories. He said money comes and goes, but the memories you make last forever. I’m so grateful that I get to have all those memories. He loved being a grandpa to my sweet Rosalie. He loved her so much. She loved him even more. She thought he was SO funny, and she would reach her arms out for him to hold her. He was so excited for Christmas’ with her, he said babies make the holiday more fun. I hate that I have to even talk about him in the past tense. My heart hurts. I don’t want to know a world without my dad in it. He was my everything. If love alone could’ve healed him, he would be home with us. My world became significantly dimmer today.
Dad–
I love you. I hope you know just how loved you are. I hope you know how deeply I will miss you and every single part of you. I should’ve gotten more DECADES with you. You were the best dad. You were better than 10 dads could’ve been to me. Everything Rosalie will learn from me, I got it all from you. After we had all said our goodbyes, the hospital chaplain looked at me and said: “You have a good heart, I can see it all over you.” All I could think of was, “You should’ve seen my dads.” I will never know a heart like yours again. I hope you love heaven. I hope you’re happy. I hope you’re surrounded by love. Everyone I love will know exactly who you are. I will miss you every single second for the rest of my life, until I can see you again. This doesn’t feel real. I love you so much dad. Forever.

Very sad for Justin's family. Praying they will find some comfort in knowing that he is no longer suffering and is with our Lord.
