Re: Moonshine Zombies
Sounds like Danzig. Is this a Christian band / band of Christians in any way?
I can't find much about them.

Re: Moonshine Zombies
Yes, they are christian. It's great that those 3 guys have been playing christian rock together for such a long time (at least 33 years!)

for sure Christian band?
if so they should rethink what they are portraying

Re: Moonshine Zombies
I think they were a bit fed up with the 'christian market' and how it ripped off artists, so they decided to go another route.
Re: Moonshine Zombies
I see what you found, looks like they may have shifted focus. Yikes, anyone else know whats up?

Re: Moonshine Zombies
The lead singer sent me a PM a while back (which I won't share here, as I don't know if he wants it public), but suffice to say that songs were stolen from them, and they're completely fed up with the christian market, and christians doing unchristian things. Sad really, as KBC or White Ray could have done some more great stuff. Moonshine Zombies music is great too, but I don't really listen to any non christian stuff.

Yikes.
I don’t see how the problems of professing Christians acting unchristian gives these guys the liberty to also act unchristian. (Not saying you’re saying that, Fundy. I know you’re not). That would be a non sequitur.

Re: Moonshine Zombies
I know they just love making music, and wanted to continue, but they feel like they need to move away from any christian content. They are still christians (or at the very least the lead singer is, as he told me so).

I cant say I walked i their shoes but Im always saddened to hear when people let other people ruin their relationship with Christ. It sounds like they had some crappy stuff happen but to swing the other way that far I just cant relate. Not judging just dont understand

Sounds like a mix of Clutch and Black Label Society. Not really into the image portrayed in the video I watched.

Curtsinger also played with this band, who are definitely not a Christian band.

Re: Moonshine Zombies
Are any of their lyrics actually Christian or are they just called a Christian band because years ago some of them played in a Christian band?

Thanks.
I was also wondering which Bible verse inspired the lyrics to "Beer is good".

I clicked on the link of their website... it's the cringiest thing I've seen in a while!
I can live quite well with exaggerated, self-ironic rock'n'roll clichés. However, I have the feeling that this is less about self-irony and more about a rather embarrassing attempt at a fabricated band image. Even if it is somehow meant ironically, it is so cheap that the only thing that sticks with me is that my eyes hurt.

Sex sells… but I think there is a big conflict of interest if this is a real Christian band.
