ALS

I received news today that a good friend from college has passed away.  He was diagnosed with ALS a few years ago - which, if you're not familiar, is a degenerative disease with no cure.  The mind stays intact but the body begins to fail.  Usually those with ALS die from asphyxiation because their bodies can no longer move their lungs to breath.  I appreciate any prayers particularly for his family who I know are wrestling with many different emotions, especially so close to Christmas.  He was a believer and I'm confident is in Christ's presence now.

Will be praying for them. Very happy to hear that he is a believer.
