THREE CROSSES Band - Any fans? Similar To Black Crowes, Big Tent Revival, CSN&Y

Three Crosses were a very overlooked, underrated Christian rock band from NJ that was around during the 90's and early 2000's.

They played Southern-styled modern rock, with strong melodies and faith-based lyrics. 
Musically they can be compared to The Black Crowes (circa "The Southern Harmony & Musical Companion"), The Rolling Stones, and Big Tent Revival, with elements of Jars of Clay, Bob Dylan, and CSN&Y.

Sometimes the lyrics are a bit cliche, but not always.  The song-writing is at times superb.  
Their best album IMO is "Skinny Flowers," which has strong, memorable songs that hold up well to repeated listens.

Three Crosses rules.

They were a really good band that deserved more attention.  Someday I would like to do a cover of their song "The Devil Ain't Got No Hold On Me".

This Is Not My Home is my favorite by them, for some reason reminds me of Extreme. I think Jefferson Street is their best but they have good stuff on each album.

I only have one of their albums (Jefferson Street), but I quite dig it.  Talented group of guys.  I need to track down more of their stuff.

I just have S/T but I still listen to it here and there.  I like that LP from start to finish.  I'm partial to "God's House" cause I was new to guitar then and I was learning my first picking pattern playing along with that song.
