I'm listening to my own music. I've had a good amount of creativity in the past few days. I found my old song which I composed maybe 10 years ago, and thought it was about a time to rearrange it. I don't have my old REAPER- projects anymore, so I have to do everything from the scratch again.

Spinning a ton of Kamelot lately.

Love the Kahn years the most still but the newer guy is growing on me.

I have the exact same problem with the lyrics. Some of them come together pretty easy but with some lyrics I've been struggling a lot. Sometimes I may come up with just one line and write it down, and maybe this line will find it's place in lyrics in the future. Sometimes I'll find the core of the song pretty quick and the lyrics are finished maybe in a day or two. For example, I wrote a song called "Breaking the Illusion" during my burnout-period 3 years ago. That whole year felt like garbage. As I was having that burnout we also divorced with my girlfriend. Very hard year and that song is really dealing with all the pain and fears that I had during that time. So I'd call that song my personal therapy
