Re: FREAKINGS ~ Rise Of Violence
The track sounds great!
Really would love to support this band and enjoy them.
My question, how are the lyrics? I have Gladiator but never bought Toxic End because I never saw the lyrics beyond a few singles which didn't say much. Seemed like they were more standard early 90's thrash lyrics from the song titles: war, environmental issues, beer, violence in general. It doesn't need to be crazy bold like Ritual Servant (which I appreciate greatly) but I couldn't tell if there was a message at all from what I heard. Made it seem pretty generic.
Anyone?

I kind of agree Frozen Fire, nothing bad in the lyrics but other then citing Deliverance and a few other Christian bands they seem generic lyrically.

Yeah. I mean, if I’m going to listen to secular thrash singing about beer, etc., this is not going to be at the top of my list. Now, if they were a Christian band, it would be a little more interesting simply because of the total lack of quality Christian thrash.

Re: FREAKINGS ~ Rise Of Violence
Wasn't trying to be negative with my previous post but was honestly curious about the lyrics. They certainly haven't lost their faith and even speak about that in Brainwashed. Some of the other tracks are very bold! Lots of the usual topics they cover but glad to see the mix of both.
Musically I'll agree with the above, a whole other level! This is legitimately excellent! A bit more diverse and the solos are excellent when they appear! I'll pick this up when I can. Shipping to the U.S. is $10 through bandcamp. Maybe Vision of God will get this one too.
