Guardian1

Did anyone here check out the Guardian1 project when they released a 3 song EP a couple of years back?  Guardian1 was Paul Cawley on vocals and guitars, and Rikk Hart on drums and percussion.  Definitely doesn't sound like First Watch era Guardian, but I thought it was pretty good.  I don't even remember who sent it to me...probably looking for a review on my site.  Cawley's vocals sound really strong, and the guitars, while carrying a heavier, grungier sound, work really well.  I'm assuming Cawley also plays bass, but I'm not certain.  Hart's drumming is solid, also.  I know their webpage is still up (www.guardian1.net), but their Facebook page seems to be dead for now (G1empire).  

I only thought of this after seeing the Fusion pictures earlier.

I actually recently bought that off of Amazon digital.

I also just recently bought both Phantom Generation digital albums from CD Baby, as they also have Paul Cawley on vocals

I have never heard it.  Sorry.....

For the record, I like the 3 song EP. I think I like it better than his next project (Phantom Generation)
