Death Therapy Next Album
Last night the wife and I drove out to Athens to see Death Therapy perform, get to listen to the next album which comes out in April as well as chow down with the bands. I will say that it is a solid second album from them, and for the most part in the same vein as the first one. Its hard to remember everything, especially with listening to it in a nice quiet environment. I think the first two tracks had some things in it that reminded me of BTA and seemed heavier than the first album. There are three guest singer on the album from other Christian bands, can't remember which ones tho. He has a 13 minute epic track on there that is more progressive and even has a harpsichord breakdown that reminds me of something BTA would have put in one of their songs. Over all it was a really cool evening. Jason is top notch guy and really down to earth.

So who's heard the new album??? It's been out for a week now.
I'm off in Europe visiting family and away from my personal laptop/iTunes though got confirmation that the CD arrived. I can't wait to hear it!

It's the solo project from ex-Becoming The Archetype vocalist Jason Wisdom. Their genre is hard to pin down... but they're very groovy with elements of industrial, death metal, and are quite experimental/eclectic. This is a song that's pretty representative of their first album:

I haven't bought it yet. I loved the first one. This smells like the sort of release that's going to see a deluxe edition a year from now with a whole bunch of bonus tracks. I don't know this AT ALL. I haven't read anything, but it has that feel to it.

Love the new album!
Definitely album of the year contender, I have been jamming it a ton on vinyl and really digging just about every song.
My favorites are: My Defiance, Feels Like Fiction (simply the best), It's Okay, and Resist The Eclipse

I believe Jason calls it Industrial Groove Metal.Temple of Blood wrote:what style are they?
I haven't had a chance to get it. If I ordered it, it was going to cost $5 to ship it. I can get it from him when I see him, and I think he gets more money that way.
