New Steve Perry

Glad to see Steve back. Sounds good but I am not a big fan of ballad type songs and from what I have read the whole album is ballads with only 2 up tempo songs. Kind of glad I didn't preorder it, I need to hear more first before buying this one. But glad to see him back he has been away too long.

I would definitely want to hear the entire album before laying down any money to purchase it.  Loved his first solo album (Street Talk) and some of the tracks off of the Strange Medicine album (although I never owned it).
I do like a good ballad/slow song, but I'm not really interested in an album mostly full of them.
I've listened to this single a few times and while I think Steve's voice sounds great (which surprised me) the song itself seems kind of mediocre.

he's got a TON of packages for sale. A lot of the colored vinyl has already sold out.

Man, his voice is shot, you can hear how dubbed the vocals are.

I was thinking the same thing, BR.  He sounds strained.

Too many years of abusing the vox, kind of like Tate now.
