The Cranberries

Just wondering if anyone else here is a fan? I love The Cranberries myself. Delores will be missed and my prayers go out to her family. I guess they'll be releasing info. as to how she died tomorrow.

I only owned a couple of their albums and one of the greatest hits comps.  Great band, Delores was an amazing vocalist.  Sad to see her go so young.

I was just reading about her life and details of her passing yesterday.  It's upsetting that the media gave false information about her death - when it happened they all reported that she committed suicide.  Apparently that was not at all the case.   Here I kept thinking for the past few years that she committed suicide and I wanted to find out why.  But it was an accidental alcohol "drowning" sort of thing, similar to Jimi Hendrix or Bon Scott.

Anyway I wasn't particularly a fan of their music but I think that "Zombie" is a very powerful song.  It's basically their "Sunday Bloody Sunday," and is every bit as good.
