Recon - reissue orange vinyl
So I decided to spin my recon orange vinyl tonight and noticed that there is a lot of "distortion" especially noticed on the ending of "Chose This Day" on the outtake with the nice bass runs. The distortion fades in/out. Thinking maybe its always been there and I never noticed it I decided to I A/B it my my original cassette...The distortion is not on my cassette. I then A/B'ed the rest of the vinyl to the cassette. Yep, more upper level distortion throughout. Anyone's vinyl have this issue too?

I'll check it out but I don't remember any. Remind me, is that an inner groove track? The one closest to the center? If that's the case you need to adjust antiskate if your turntable has it. Sometimes that will help. What type of table and stylus do you have?
