I've got Chapter IV and Through the Storm and will probably pick this up soon.

What are Vindex and Trigger like?

Nice! Those are both great releases; especially that EP.

I can't speak much for Vindex since I've only listened to a couple songs, but Trigger is similar to SR in some ways though a little more hard-rock and traditional heavy metal oriented and less power-metally.

They are basically Signum Regis with a different vocalist. Trigger's vocals aren't in English and neither band is Christian. Sort of like Harmony and Darkwater. Here's a sample of each band.

I should add that Kerrick is correct about the absence of the power metal feel. Vindex is a bit more anthemic (is that a word?) and straight forward metal as well. I make the comparison to SR because the more I listen to each of the bands, the more noticeable the similarities in the writing and playing styles, especially to the early SR albums.

I did wonder about "Christian band" thing even though Metal Archives lists "Christianity" as a lyrical theme for Vindex.
