Any Haken or Knifeworld fans?

Hey all!

Is anyone here a fan of Haken or Knifeworld? Haken's (prog rock/metal) last album, The Mountain was just amazing. Their new one comes out this month and it's probably one of my most anticipated albums of the year. Knifeworld is more psychedelic/prog but their last one blew me away too. Their new one comes out about the same time as Haken's.

Any fans or has anyone even heard of these bands?

I have never heard of either of these bands...I will check them out...

HUUUUUGE Haken fan. I already downloaded a leaked file of Affinity 
It's good but not nearly as good as the Mountain tbh. The Mountain was my favorite prog album released in the past 5 years. I love how they combined a good variety of prog influences while still keeping very centered on catchy songwriting. Affinity returns to a bit more DT-ish noodling with some heavy synthy stuff which is okay just not up to par imo.

Never heard of Knifeworld but I'll make a note to check them.

I own The Mountain and the Restoration EP by Haken. The Mountain is a great album, Restoration was nice too (especially the song Crystallised). I'm not falling for the hype for the new album though, I'll just wait until I find it on sale

Can't remember ever hearing about Knifeworld though.

A little sad to hear you don't like the new one as much as The Mountain. Still gonna get it and hopefully I'll love it like the others.

Everyone should definitely check out Knifeworld. They have a bassoon player...and it totally works.

I haven't heard the new album yet; there are only two songs published in a legal way, and I don't care for leaks (one might even say I absolutely despise them).
And when I buy it, I want to buy a physical copy, so that they at least make some money out of it. I might even pick it up when it isn't on sale, but there's other releases that have priority for me (2015 has been a busy year!).

A bassoon player, sounds interesting! Will check them out.

I am a Haken fan. Have The Mountain on CD and Restoration from iTunes. Looking forward to their new release. I have not heard of Knifeworld, but will check them out.  

Another prog band that is very good is Airbag (http://www.airbagsound.com/). They have a combination of Pink Floyd and Porcupine Tree. Their new release comes out in June. Looking forward to that one as well.
