RIP TTHOG 2015-2023
As the ol' saying goes, all good things must come to an end. And as of this announcement, the end has come for Taking The Head Of Goliath.
We've decided that rather than keep the project on life support as it has been for the last three years, we'd take a moment to finally give it a proper burial. Rest assured friends, all is good between bandmates. There was nothing to cause this decision to be made other than the four of us accepting the reality of the status of the band. We're simply not active. Our time together is up. At the end of the day, we've always had a culture of keeping our highest priorities in life straight; faith, family, etc... the band itself was never going to take precedent over these things so if continuing on with it means replacing anyone or rebuilding this band in any way, as brothers, that just isn't going to happen. So it has been written. It is done.
Now, there is a little something on the horizon we'd like to share as we ride off into the sunset.... We've recorded a couple of songs and an EP containing our final works will be released this year through Rottweiler Records. We hope you'll enjoy it.
From the bottom of our hearts we thank you all for your support over the years. We appreciate every one of you and have had the time of our lives with this project.
Goodbye and God bless,
Jake, Nathan, Luke and Steve

Looking forward to the spin-off band, Taking the Foreskins of the Philistines.

Considering the previous album cover was a literal translation of the band name...Pethead wrote:Looking forward to the spin-off band, Taking the Foreskins of the Philistines.
Loved the Ep, sad to see them go but I'm so glad Jake is in Broken Flesh. Finally that band may have useful vocals. I love his voice and attitude.

It was an OK project. I hope it means that if Luke, Miles, and Steve are still interested in music in any capacity that this will re-focus their energies on Crimson Thorn.
