I have the original CD and never play it.  To be honest, it just wasn't as good as the first two.

I have it as well & I concur that it's just not that good. Definitely nowhere near as good as first two releases.  I think I also have a 4th release tho I think it's more out-take/demo in style - something like "From The Cutting Room Floor".  Also not very good imo.

That's it.  Studio outtakes and demos (like Saint's Basement Tapes) and I never listen to it.

I haven't heard III.

By the time III came around, I think that there really wasn't a band left.  It just lacked something.

I had no idea there was a third album.

I will listen to some samples and see if it worth getting or not.
BTW, there are some hard to find stuff in this site. I might even purchase Your Dying DAy album, which I still don't have yet.

I got this one when it first came out. Probably ordered it from a Heaven's Metal magazine ad. Not much like their first two efforts, but still good music if you like Kevin's voice. More of a Led Zeppelin feel than the haunting technical metal from their first two. I also have Kevin's "Step of Faith" solo album. Again, very good if you like his voice. Has a Black Crows vibe on some songs, more acoustic and mellow than the Haven self titled disc.
