Martyr was good. Loved their demo. However, whence they changed to Betrayal, they seemed to lose something for some reason I was never able to place my finger on.

Don't get me wrong, Betrayal was good. But they weren't that good. Too generic sounding.

I used to have one of their tapes. What I remember is a very metal zone pedal guitar tone loud n clear. Another to check out again.

I loved the Martyr demos. I had a hard time getting into the first Betrayal album, but The Passing was excellent. I've never heard any of the stuff that was done after that.

Agree with pretty much everything that has been said already but I haven't seen any love for Avenger of blood "celestial war". It is an EP but still probably one of the better examples of Christian thrash I have heard.

The only thrash I have in my collection is the first three Deliverance albums and these would be my top 3. I do like the occasional Tourniquet, Vengance Rising and Believer song so these bands would likely be in the top 10 if I was into thrash more. Most of my collection consist of glam commercial metal, classic metal and some technical progressive and power metal.

I think WICKEDS END and IMMORTAL's demos are easily some of the best Christian thrash ever released.

The big names (in secular thrash as well) are way overrated IMHO.

It's the same band but a different lineup and without Christian lyrics. They rip also and are really great people.

Just pick any 10.  They're all the same, right?

OK, well I guess it's fair game to pick albums I played on, right?  It's just my opinion anyway.

It has taken forever!  It's ridiculous.  One setback after another.  But believe me, I really, really want to get it all done.  Once all the rhythm guitars are recorded it will go much faster.  Still not sure when it will be out.
